Luxottica Retail, North America today made an important decision to use GRMAP as Mechandising and Assortment planning tool for multiple retail format chains. The decision comes close on the heels of another big decision to utilize the services of Groupsoft in implementing SAP Retail in Lenses division. The company makes the bold move after deep analysis of the features of GRMAP. The upgradation to GRMAP platform is scheduled to complete by 2010. Under the pact, Luxottica will use GRMAP for forecasting demans and planning its inventory. Groupsoft will provide continuous support to the company. Some of the popular brands of the international giant include Ray-Ban, Vogue, Persol, Oliver Peoples, Arnette and REVO. |
