AL Batha Group, one of the reputed businesses houses of UAE, has chosen Groupsoft to implement SAP Retail and SAP POS for its electronic retailing business. The company will operate its Retail business in the electronic sector with the brand name ECITY.

Under the pact, Groupsoft will implement SAP IS Retail and SAP POS as end to end solutions. This is the first time when SAP POS is being implemented in UAE with SAP ISR. The project has many challenges ahead like the short duration of 4 months within which the project has to go Live. Being a Green field project, there is no base to fall back upon.

Al Batha Group is one of the largest private business groups in the UAE. The Group consists of more than 20 autonomous companies in the diversified sectors. The company has a solid presence in some of the fields like manufacturing, engineering, distribution, construction, training and printing.
