Groupsoft Technologies, a partnership venture started jointly by Amitabh Nema and Sanjay Pasbola, was incorporated as a Private Limited Company – under the new name GST IT Services Pvt. Ltd.   This incorporation was necessary step in changing the structure and growth of the company. 

However, GST IT Services Pvt. Ltd. has retained Groupsoft as a brand name and shall be promoted so. “All our endeavours in the past three years have been in promoting the name Groupsoft in the market, Today a number of our customers recognize us by this name. Due to some nomenclature reasons the company could not register itself as Groupsoft – therefore we shall continue promoting our services and products under the brand name Groupsoft”, clarifies Sanjay Pasbola. 

The services delivery model, ownership status and client base remain unchanged. Groupsoft will continue to work in the area of SAP Retail and the peripheral technologies. It also retains its customer base in the Resourcing services.

“This is an important step for us in 2007, since we are looking to expand in the international markets, With US & UK expansion planned in the next few months, it was imperative to re-structure our organisation and leverage from the benefits an incorporation brings with it”, says Amitabh Nema. “We have already positions our sales office in the US and a virtual office in the UK – from operational perspective, it is important to minimize risk at this crucial juncture”.
